InspectEquip™ ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is a software application operated by Vortech Mechanical Services Pty Ltd (ACN 655 628 050), an Australian registered company.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the InspectEquip mobile application.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "reports" include inspection reports, condition reports (such as pre-start, pre-hire, return and handover inspections), service reports, breakdown reports, repair reports, and other reporting workflows that may be introduced in future versions of the App.
InspectEquip is designed primarily as an offline-first application. Information entered into the App is generally stored locally on your device and is used to provide the App's core functionality.

InspectEquip may allow users to export and import customer, vehicle and report data for backup or device transfer purposes. Exported files are created locally on your device and are not uploaded to or stored by Vortech Mechanical Services Pty Ltd.
Limited subscription, device registration, recovery and support-related information may be stored using third-party infrastructure and platform services required for app functionality.

InspectEquip may collect limited technical diagnostic data to help identify errors, improve performance and enhance the reliability of the App.

Security also depends on the security of your mobile device, operating system, user permissions and any storage solutions you use. You are responsible for securing your device, enabling device-level passcodes or biometric protection where available and controlling physical access.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
InspectEquip may be used internationally. By using the App, you acknowledge that information entered into the App may be stored on devices or services located in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, depending on how you use the App and any services selected by you.
We may introduce additional report types, workflows, cloud synchronisation, analytics, backups, integrations, in-app billing or other online services in future versions of the App. If we do, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect how those features handle information.
InspectEquip is a professional business tool and is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age.
